    Default Outer Banks, North Carolina

Here are a few pictures from my recent trip to Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. KFFA is on the Wright Brothers Monument property.

Default Outer Banks (Part 2) - Ocracoke and Hatteras

Mrs. Wlfpckrs and I made a wonderful day-trip to Ocracoke and Hatteras (NC) today. What took 1.5 hours each way in N293CT would have taken 5 hours each way in the car. If you are unfamiliar with NC's Outer Banks, they're pretty neat, because they are located 15-20 miles off the mainland coast of NC.

And to break up our sun time, we went to Howard's Pub, a local Ocracoke eatery and landmark. NC is famous for its coastal lighthouses; here are Hatteras's and Ocracoke's, respectively. You may have to look for a moment to see the Ocracoke lighthouse, but it's in there.
