Anyone on this forum fly their CT down to the Caribbean islands? What needs to be done to make a trip like this?

Since my original message, I did a little research and found that you can fly over the islands (from the Bahamas to Trinidad & Tobago and South America) and not be over water for more than 1-1.5 hours at any one stretch. Having said that, being over water and out of sight of land for 45 minutes or more is probably pretty humbling.

Note: In the "Introduce Yourself" section, I found some good information about flying the Bahamas and Caribbean.
