Great photos!
And I see that I'm not the only one with colored tape on my pitot tube...

190 hours in the CT and have loved every one.
Two more
Final 2
Okay, I cannot let this one go without a response from South of the Border. Enclosed are two pictures of a "lake" just west of Stanley Idaho in the Sawtooth mountains that we flew by last week at our flyin. The first picture is a close up. The lake is there and the name is a guess on my part. Spud
PS, your Rockies are beautiful, a very lot more snow than we get and we will by up your way next summer.
After a lecture last weekend from Lori (mountain flying expert) here in Calgary I HAVE to come and spend time in the Idaho back country!!
Thanks for the pictures!
I am not sure if I a allowed to say this, but hey here it goes anyway. With the variety of scenery THE place to fly is out west!!
Challenging conditions all the way from Alaska, through the Canadian and USA Rockies to the Grand Canyon and Arizona desert and not to mention the Washington, Oregon and California coast and mountains.
And guess what? The CT is one of the most effectifvw , safe and economical ways to do this!!
Once you know how to fly well out west in the terrain here, the flying east should be easy (maybe with the exception of dodging hurricanes and tornados).
Boy did I stick my foot in my mouth!
I better put a lid on it, but not after inviting ALL our eastern friends to come and sample this yourself!
You won't be disappointed!
Cheers,
Jos
