Default quick trip to Marfa, TX

Tough sledding against the wind getting there, but got a tailwind on the way back. My longest leg yet, 450nm. My first mountain flying (though the winds were only 20 kt or so).

Marfa doesn't add ethanol to their mogas. I bought a 5 gal can and added 15 gal of mogas there at $1.89/gal. The can is still there for future Rotax pilots.

This is from a wayot post, hence the humor.

Nice write-up! Chicken coop sounds like my kind of vacation cabin (except for no heat).

Will look for the mogas can if I go out in Feb.
