    Default Canadian Icefield Parhway trip

Below a link of today's trip through the Rockies.

Not as warm as Page, Arizona but quite different scenery.

    I hope you enjoy.

    Cheers,

Those pictures are awesome... not like anything I've seen in North Carolina (though I think we've got a beautiful state).

    Default Those beautiful mountains

    Hiya Jos!
    great trip.
the low clouds at Banff might be considered a bit intimidating though!!!!
I was up the Selkirks yesterday, alpine larch are all gone but the lower valleys are in spectacular full colour. Nothing to compare to Wlfpkrs's colours in NC, though. That might be worth a tour next year.

Haven't been able to get back up the Rockies for a while, but here's some pics of the same mountains you toured, approaching from the west side, taken a couple of seasons ago along the Great divide. Posted them before, but I still love to look at 'em. apologies for the repeat

Thanks for the reminder of the beauty up here!

Great pics Jos. That is an area I have been wanting to get to for years.
