Default Jackson, WY - Teton Range

Following the McMinnville fly-in, my wife and I took our CT out to Jackson, WY, for a visit to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The weather was basically good when we arrived and left, and it rained most of the time in between. We also had snow in Yellowstone. So we did no flying over the area, other than the arrival and departure, but here's a couple of pics.

The trip home was long, as we had thunderstorms along our route forcing an overnight in Idaho. Then we had a combination of low and high ceilings all the rest of the way the next day, that forced a delay in Lakeview, OR. (KLKV) for several hours. Was trying to get in to Alturas, but IFR conditions wouldn't allow it.

0RF performed fantastically on the trip, and held everything I needed it to. It sure was nice to get back to close to sea level though.

Great photos! I will be headed to JAC this summer, but will be leaving 1CT at home

Hope to go over to Driggs, ID and go soaring for a few days.
