Well, it's Dallas, but Try Carol Walker at JWY. Google "carol walker cfi" for her number.

Thanks. I'll keep her in mind. I'm trying to buy a CTSW based in California and am examining options for getting it home. We're insuring with Avemco and they're requiring 5 hours of dual with a CFI who has at least 5 hrs in type (make and model) and a "flight review" in the insured aircraft before solo. So putting together the logistics of it all is proving to be a challenge. I'm working through a couple of ideas about how to manage it.

I can put you in touch with an excellent CFI in Sacramento that has at least 20 hours training in a CTSW. PM me if you want me to get in touch with him for you.

I worked with a CFI in Salinas , he has many hours instructing in LSA's and is an excellent instructor. First name is Korby (can't think of his last name) his phone is 831-917-5980

We have a couple of qualified CFI's and a CTsw available. Might want to come up here for a couple of days and get your sign-off. I'm sure we could assist with some place to park you while here.

Going up to NorCal LSA is my current alternative to getting instruction at Columbia. I've located a guy there (Doug Peffer) who can give me what I need if we decide to buy and we can get our schedules to mesh. I'm having to work this around the shuttle launch schedule, which I'll know more about after the tanking test tomorrow. But, if we can't. I'm going to ask Alan to ferry the CTSW up to Red Bluff and fly with some instructor there and then start the trip back to Texas.

    Hi Andy,

I'm a CFII with about 250hrs in the CTSW. I'm in Bisbee AZ about 250 miles west of El paso. Sounds like you have what you need but if I can help you in anyway now or in the future let me know.

Thanks, Eric. Doug Peffer and I are scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week to do the work I need. The deal for Alan's airplane is supposed to go through in the morning and I'll pick up the airplane on Aug 3rd and then fly with Doug on the 4th and 5th before heading back to Houston. I really appreciate the offer, though.
