Default Not a CTLS question even that is on a CTLS?

Hi, I am sorry that I am asking this on this site,

but we don't have a training section on this forum .I just have a doubt,

I am right know on my 10 hr log (dual inst.) on the CTLS .My CFI

say that because my last experience flying Ultralight I have Master all

maneuver, landings, etc.,etc.. that my solo on the CT is going to really be in 2 to 3

more flight. My question is : On the regulation says that I have to fly 15 hrs Dual

and 5 solo .In 2 more flight I may log 2 more hours dual. So is 12 hours to

dual and he will sign me off for the solo. Do I still need to log in my

training the other 3hrs dual left for my checkride?

    Default Log time

    Yes.
Regardless of your previous experience you need the correct hours. If your flight examiner looks at the log and your short hours your finished right then and there. Put in the required time dual and solo. He is also supposed to spend 3 hours just before the test prepping you. That could be your last 3 hrs. He can sign you off for solo anytime he wants, but do the full time.

    Jose,

don't underestimate what you can learn from your instructor.

Remember the CT is far more advance than an Ultra Light and it really pays off to get the proper amount of training, and even some more on areas that you are weaker in.

Remember, this is not a race! There is no price for finishing first or with the minimum amount of time and yet there is a big price you receive every time you arrive at your destination safely!
