Thread: Rotax - ROAN

Looks like Rotax has something new on line. If you subscribe to Rotax's "ROAN" you get the service bulletins and you used to get e-learning videos and product reviews, ect... I looks like if you want anything more than the SB's you will need to subscribe for $19.95 a year. If you don't all you get is just a quick preview of what a video may contain. I kind of had to subscribe and that gave me full access to everything.

This is off topic, but I noticed that you are in Tucson. Our son is a UA and we will be down there for spring break to visit him. I was wondering if you have time to talk to a total CT newbee about the SW and the LS. I would enjoy talking to someone who actually works on the planes and also flies them. I would be happy to buy you lunch or pay for the gas to fly around some. If you are available for something like this let me know and I will get you the dates or our visit. Thanks.

Bisbee! I don't know what's going to be up during our visit free time wise, but a flight and food is always a great thing, and of course Roger would have to have the time and desire (goes without saying). I went to your website and I have a question. I am really interested in doing something like a three day at a place that could really teach me to fly one of the CT's before I buy one, maybe get in 12 hours or so. I have done this with every plane that I have purchased and it has served me very well. I not only get a real feel for the airplane, but I spend less time learning to fly and just going places after I buy it. I don't know if this is something you would offer, but I thought I would check. The thing makes me think AZ would be that there are high DA airports like Sedona as well as high heat, windy, the whole range. Never hurts to be well trained.

We can absolutely provide that service for you; it's one of our specialties. Bisbee will test your skills, they put the runway perpendicular to the prevailing wind so you get mountain/thermal bumps, crosswinds, and high DA's all at the same place! Its a challange but its really fun.
