    Default Spark Plug gap

Does anyone know what the spark plug gap should be?

My 912 line maintenance manual says 0.7 - 0.8mm,(.0276"- .0315") page 38. I strongly suggest getting your own manual, if for no other reason to keep your butt covered

For hard starting engines a gap as small as 0.020" is allowed. Keep in mind this is only suggested if every other possible cause for hard starting has been addresses and ruled out.
