    Default Who

The address is in German. And the name of the company is all in *****. Spell the name of the company backwards - maybe it's being blocked somehow.

    Default Competitor

    Hi Globe,

Our German is a little rusty. Please post the competitor in English. Are you referring to ***************

    Roger H,

It's not Globe's typing of *******. It's your program. When I tried to type *************** it only comes up *******

I had to type in the periods to get the name to come up in print. Your program is blocking the word.

If it is *************** then it is what Roger H. predicted might happen because he didn't think they could sustain the advertising they were doing. I haven't seen that level of advertising lately. Also, I suspect some one is suing for a large sum over that Florida accident where the wings folded up due to inproper preflight. In the RV-12 that I am trying to get started on, you can't start the engine unless the wings are on properly - or you over ride the system.

The court in Munich mentioned that *************** filed insolvencyon the 30th of Nov. 2009
. To secure the assets "in case of undesireable chanches" the court has nominated a liquidator until further notice and the company needs prior acceptance from the liquidator for any action refering to the assets.

It comes as a surprise as on the 30th of November R.E.M.O.S still announced, that for the AOPA 2010 the latest Model RX was chosen for the sweepstakes...

    Default Receivership

I've verified that it is true....

The R company has gone into the German equivalent of receivership.

It just goes to show - you can't spend money, money, money without sales, sales, sales!

It's tuff out there right now and will continue to be so - THE BEST THING WE CAN ALL BE DOING (for us owners and the category) is help SELL, SELL, SELL Flight Design. I doubt we're going to but we certainly don't want to be owners of airplanes from a defunct company.

If that's the case, why haven't we heard of it on any of the major aviation websites? A sparrow could fly into an airliner and they cover it. Any ideas?

    Default I agree

I agree it's kind of weird that it hasn't hit the papers here. I have seen the German paperwork however. So who knows!! I'm certainly not surprised - they've got like fifty plus unsold planes in the US. You can't survive on hype alone!
