Concerning the fuel sight tubes, this is an issue that has me so angry that I don't dare respond in public. I had mine changed at my annual in May and they immediately clouded over and hardened. I informed FDUSA, and Tom Peghiny personally of the problem. I sent him a piece of the old sight tube in June. The defective tubing was marked "Rehau Raucl Air". He suggested replacing it with Tygothane C-210-A 3/8"ID 1/2"OD, which I did in June. The new tubing is still clear, flexible and working fine. I still don't have formal approval to use the new tubing even though I've bugged him a couple of times.

I am royally pissed about the whole thing. This is a safety issue and FD appears to be just sitting on their asses. You have to do what you have to do.
