Thread: Operating off grass

I took that picture 2 1/2 years ago when I purchased the land, each of the 10 owners own part of the strip and the 12 acre pond. I bought lot 1 which is the largest parcel.

I haven't been up there for almost 2 years and understand there are now four cabins and at least three hangars on the other lots.

I hope to build a hangar with a small living quarters on it when the kids finish college, (2 1/2 more years).

I am curious to see how well the CT will perform going in and out of a 2300' strip at that altitude. I will start out with a light load of fuel and just me.

I haven't been into any of the back country strips with my CT, but did go into Johnson Creek and Moose Creek two years ago with a friend in his 206. I hope to fly into both those strips this summer.

I have flown over to McCall for lunch, and to Stanley for breakfast. Stanley is a nice place to fly int.

I also plan to attend the CT fly in, and will see you there!
