Thread: Hello from Vienna !

Hi Everyone,
I`m from Austria and have enjoyed attending your forum for quite while and it`s about time to stop being an anonymous reader. Haven`t started flying until my mid-fifties, thanks to my fearless wife we have enjoyed that for some years now. It was good to hear about some difficulties landing a CT and the sound advice given by some of you. After some 200hours in our co-shared CTSW I hope to have overcome the initial difficulties and now we are anxiously expecting to fly our new CTLS by end of March.
Thanks to your forum we got in touch with Eric Swisher of Copper City Aviation, Bisbee, AZ, and just got back from a wonderful week in Arizona and Southern Utah visiting Grand Canyon, Bryce, Monument Valley,Canyonlands etc. in his great CTSW.Thanks a lot Eric and Cheryl ! Thanks also to Roger Lee for some technical advice - it worked out fine!
Having visited Central and Eastern Australia in a C 182 in 2006 we would love to see "the rest", possibly also in a CTSW or CTLS in the year to come. Does anybody in the forum know of a charter possibility in Down Under West? We would appreciate your help.
