    Default French CTLS

    Hello.
We are the first french aeroclub using the CTLS to fly in Muret.
I look for some CTLS users feedback to make it easier for us to train our club's members, also with some tips on some training program (for newbies, or long time Cessna trucks flying).
    Pictures soon...

That is great, and welcome to the forum. There is plenty of information throughout this forum that will be helpful to you and your members. I own and flight instruct in a CTsw and I find that spending plenty of time performing slow flight at 15, 30 and 35 flaps (in the LS) pays off. Most people transitioning have a hard time with the change in control harmony as the plane slows down, the requirement for rudder inputs with each roll or power change, and the sight picture during landing. When you are teaching landings, start with power on low approaches with 15 flaps focusing on keeping the nose straight. Try to keep the centerline between your students feet and parallel to the ridge in the top of the instrument panel. If you have enough runway, power on approaches to touchdown are easier to manage for students until they get used to the sight picture.
