    Default new west coast distributor

We are the new distributors for Nevada, California, Washington, Oregon, Montana and Idaho. We are in the process of finalizing agreements with major service centers in Portland, Santa Monica and Las Vegas. Dealers for the planes are going to be at these 3 locations as well. Our first inventory is coming from Germany mid-september, 4 planes. If you should have any questions or suggestions would love to hear from you. You can call me directly at 817-296-8660.

    Hi Scott,

Nice to have a new fd-west even if you are 2 hours away, Carson City was within 1 hour for me.

I want to plant a seed, North Las Vegas can be a real problem for my ctsw and at least 1 other ctsw that I know of. I have seen my oil temp go to redline while waiting fro a take off clearance. It is pretty scary to depart there under such conditions.

My current plan is to use a digital thermometer in my oil tank with the display in the cockpit and confirm that my high readings are real. If that is the case I will likely need to increase oil cooling capacity.

Good Luck and I look forward to meeting up.

Is Vegas your main location? Which airport? Seems like a perfect spot to address the oil temp. issue! WF

We have locations in Santa Monica, Portland Oregon and north las Vegas. I have forwarded the oil temp issue to the head of maint for all locations and I would expect a post. That said, common problem with all planes not just flight design in the hot weather. Need to just depart quickly, in summer out of Vegas we normally depart Vfr and pick up ifr in the air so we don't sit

On another topic, we are looking at a referral program. Would welcome suggestions on what you would like for referrals that result in a sale. Cash, service, toys for your plane, etc. Let us know.

    Scott,

I would like to know the particulars on your Portland location. Name, location, phone numbers, etc would be great. Hopefully you will be doing the tail feather repairs in Portland when that SD comes out??
