Thread: Blame It On Copper City!

Just a quick note to introduce myself... David Daniel... probably the newest CTsw Private Pilot (as soon as I finish my checkride and 2x more tower landings)....

If you come to Bisbee, AZ (P04) and you can see a guy buzzing around in N358CT... only to blaze in for a landing... unintentionally slamming the nose gear down so hard I can hear my CFI cringe a mile away... that would be me... (the good landings of 8CT are Eric!)

Eric - of Copper City Aviation Fame - would be that CFI... thinking about how out-of-round his nosewheel is...

Having a blast!!!

Unfortunately not all of them are good, but hopefully no one saw the ground shakers I've done!!

OK, 340 hours in the CT now and a similar number of landings. 2300 hours total. I have come to accept the fact that I may NEVER be able to land the CT with the same reliable style and grace that I can a Cessna. I don't think I am dangerous in the CT, just not so elegant. Its a challenge. Its fun. Keeps me humble. - WF
