    Default engine overheating


    We are having a problem with our 912 engine overheating, in the last few weeks. Any ideas?

    Default Overheating

    Ho Bob,

    Could you be more specific. Did it start right out of the blue, did it start after maint.? What is different now from when it wasn't overheating? What temps do you consider overheating? If you can answers these I might be able to help you hunt this down.

    Well, we found out our engine overheating problem on our 912 Rotax. It turned out the baffling that directed air into the radiator for folded over not allowing the air to flow in. As soon as we realigned it correctly. ...no problems. Thanks for all the help with ideas.
