    Hi Kev,

Sun'n Fun is in Lakeland, Fl. April 8-13, 2008. It's worth going to.

    Kev:

From Kissimee you are looking at about a 50 mile drive. You will need to go west to Interstate 4 and then proceed west to Lakeland. Once in the Lakeland area look for the airport signs. They ussually have temporary signs pointing to Sun-n-Fun.

Traffic is a bear on the weekends but if you come on a weekday it should be OK. Weekend show is the USAF Thunderbirds so they are expecting a big crowd this year. Weather is usually 70s to mid 80s during the day. There is a lot to see and you probably can't do it in a day.

When you are at Sun-n-Fun you will see motorcycles leading aircraft around the field. Thats what I do when I volunteer at Sun-n-Fun. Its quite a blast leading a B17 or Mustang in to their parking spot!

    Have fun

    Hi John

Sounds a blast and 50 miles is perfectly acceptable assuming i can remember to drive on the right side of the road. I am there from the 3rd to 17th so ill take you advise and avaiod the weekend. Also anyone recomend somewhere i can charter a helicopter while im there for a sight seeing tour. I guess hiring one is a non starter i heard we need all kinds of papers to fly over there. regards Kev
