Default Flight Design details not listed in the Rotax site

    Hello,

I would like to see a thread topic on all maintenance, etc. not listed on the Rotax web site. There are topics that I can not find such as changing the oil, the fuel filter update, etc.

    Any suggestions welcomed.

    100% agreed.

For example: Do you need to remove any of the exhaust piping to change the oil filter? It looks like you do.

    Doug,

I watched the dealer do an oil change on my 06 CTSW and I sure don't remember him touching the exhaust.

It was pretty quick and painless.

    Default oil filter change

    Hi All,

You should not have to remove anything to remove the oil filter. You can use a Fram filter #TG3614. I have been using them for two years and many others use the same filter without any problems. Some of these guys have 2k-3k hours on their engines without any problems.
