Default Map of locations of CTsw owner forum members

Would like to see a map of the locations of CTsw forum members, especially those who would volunteer to meet and assist fellow CT'ers on their cross country travels.

I would certainly volunteer to meet and greet and to bring out the gas cans to get premium fuel from off the field.

A worldwide map would also be interesting.

    Default Great idea

    Russ,

You have a great idea. A couple of thoughts: First, I feel all CT owners/pilots have the same willing feeling and would always offer up if another fellow CT pilot stopped in.

I'll work on some type of map for the forum...meanwhile you can click on the the "memberlist" and see where most are from. We're getting close to 200 fairly regular members!

    Default Map of members

Roger - You might want to look into using Google Maps. I've seen a ot of web sites do similar things. I don't know anything about it from a technical perspective, though.

Default Put in your location name, etc....

Ok here you go - I think. Please let me know if this works!

I think you will need to click on the CTowner map, then click on edit to "stick you pin"

If this works I'll put the URL on the front page of the forum.

    Let me know.

    Default Map

    Hi Roger,

No CT map anywhere to edit, just a map.

OK - I'll work on it some more. Probably will need a log in name and password.

    Default Try this...

OK, let's see if this works.

    1. Go to www.google.com
    2. Go to "maps"
    3. sign in with name:
    4. Select my maps
    4.5 Select CTowners map
    4.6 Select "Edit"
    5. Plug in your pin location
    6. Log out

Let me know your thoughts here!

    Default Map is Gone

    Hi Roger H,

I went back to look at the map and I think it's gone. I couldn't find the CT map.

    Default You're right

Well - so much for that theory!!

Someone decided to be a "turkey" I guess and delete it. I'll think it through some more.

    Roger

ps - don't forget my form!
