    Default Trays

Would like to see a set of trays under the instrument panel that would hold a three ring binder. Looks easy enough to change out if they were available.

Main reason for wanting is that my original POH got wet from being placed in the footwell. Downloaded a new one from Lockwood (?), put it on a thumb drive. Then went to Staples and had it printed. Place them into sheet protectors and a three ring binder. Now having a hard time keeping them reasonably available.

I don't have enough sheet metal working ability to make my own.

Good idea? (Is in my not so humble opinion.)

Above the smaller "trays" that are already built in are some holes to help circulate air behind the panel. My mechanic had to put an avionics cooling fan there to keep from overheating the dynon, so I can't put anything paper in the tray on the pilot's side or it will be sucked into the cooling fan. I can use the one on the right side, however. I suppose it might be possible to hang something below that, closer to the firewall, but then you would have to bend down to get to it. I stick some charts and stuff beside the seat, and others have posted different solutions. - WF
