Jim,
Do you know if the suspension kit is for the SW as well? Does FD provide the parts and no cost? Thanks! Doug
Got it, thanks all.
Doug. The scope says "All CT/CTSW models equipped with the steel spring KA4010140"
My parts were free, labor is not. This is a voluntary exchange and the document does not show up on the Flight Design bulletin webpage.
Here you go with the bulletin and pictures.![]()
Thank You Roger!
Roger, can you please send me this bulletin, unable to download from this post. I have the parts from Sebring.....
I have had the front end "kit" ordered since January. Yesterday, I talked to FD and the parts that were supposed to come in the latest container (and that were supposed to come in the previous 2 or 3 containers before this) were not included with the shipment. FD could not give me any idea if or when Germany might decide to ship the parts. FD seemed to be stymied and I got the impression that Germany is stonewalling them. My front end is making strange noises on rough fields. Are there others who have requested and are waiting for these parts besides me? Anyone have any suggestions how I might light a fire under Germany to ship the parts? Hmmmmm, wonder if shooting some "Great Stuff" foam in the strut would work?............

Hi Dick,
I too need these parts and some suspension guide pins. They were all back ordered along with some other things. They are making a call today to ask about this situation. I hope to know more today or tomorrow. If it becomes an issue we can all send them an email in Germany to let them know we need these and other parts very soon. You may be able to find one of these kits at another FD dealer.
Roger, thanks for the backup. I also have the pins ordered. Figure that these should be replaced when the mod is done for the suspension. Let's stay in touch. If there's anything I can do from here (I doubt it) please let me know.
Still also have the Rotax oil pressure relief parts on back order with Lockwood which is also since January. No idea when these parts will be available. No word from Lockwood. Guess that I have until 1500 hours to get these installed but I'm not holding my breath even for this. Can you tell I'm bummed about the support we're getting?????
