Something to look out for in the new year regarding Rotax hoses….

It looks like the U.K. C.A.A. are going to issue a Mandatory Permit Directive regarding all ROTAX engines fitted with Trelleberg Hydro K hoses. As you can see from the link below this hose has been failing in a very short time span and once the proposal has been adopted the hoses will have to be changed. It’s causing some confusion over here because different aircraft suppliers are using different brands of hoses to their Rotax installations. What brand are they using in the U.S.A.?
