So does this article indicate that a FDCT does not need the 100-hr if it is not used for hire?
PRW
The LSA Mfg can dictate the inspection interval. FD wants 100 hr, annual condition and Rotax wants 25 hr. (required), 50 hr (optional) and 100 hr thereafter. FD as well as other LSA Mfg's follow Rotax's maint. schedule. Many LSA's are the same intervals. If you want to keep your warranty and air worthy certificate you will do these inspections as an SLSA.
The FAA only dictates the 100 hr if used for hirer and the annual condition.
Roger, why are your examples of log book entries referring to both airframe and engine in one entry?
Don't we have separate logbooks...or are you just showing it combined for brevity on space available for posting or what am I missing?
