I inspect my floats every 100 hours.
I replaced my floats at 600 hours due to very slight wear of the copper pin.
I also turn them around every 100 hours.
My floats have shown very little wear.
Any other experiences?
Cheers,
Jos
I believe that is only for "type certificated" engines according to the bulletin. We aren't type certificated.
If you are doing the maintenance per the Rotax manual you are looking at it much more often than required by the SAIB. Tom
