    Default Old trim tab SB

I hate to bring this up, but I will anyway.

The old service bulletin SB 15 R1, dated Jun 29, 2007. New guys disreguard this was more for 2006 planes and into a few 2007's. I don't remember the outer limits of the planes listed.
This was the trim tab fix. In general a small piece of angled composite fitted on the trim tab to help reinforce the area at the bracket.
Does anyone have the angled composite bracket facing forward toward the cockpit on the stabilator? It should be on the trim tab and not the stabilator.

    Default Tab

    Hi John,

I think I have and can't remember who that's why I ask. If one is wrong maybe another might be.

    Firewall blanket done.

    Default Trim Tab Mod

    Hi Jacques,

No it's fairly easy. Instructions are good.

    Default Trim Tab

The trim tab is easy on the knuckles. It's more of a "it takes a little time" issue than being hard work.
The firewall blanket is a different story. The edges are sharp, thin gloves would be a good idea. I'm healing as we speak.
