Thread: Ct canvas

I need to buy a Tailcone Cover for the base of the Rudder/Stabilator/Horz Stab in order to keep the birds from nesting in my aircraft while I wait for hanger space. I also need to buy a canvas/fabric empennage tie down band - probably velcro closure (with a grommet ring) to tie down the tail of the aircraft. Does anyone know where I can purchase these two items? I have a aircraft cover from Bruces' Covers, and I'm well pleased with it, but I haven't been able to locate these other items. I'd appreciate any information.

P.S. - Plane Covers in Salisbury MD has made these items but right now he says he's swamped with work and can't get to it.

Give these Gals a call and tell them hello from Roger... They don't stock them but they usually are very good about special order stuff. They've made it all for me - very helpful. There's a CT on the airport they can measure from.

My airplane came supplied with the tie-down band. You can probably get another one from Flight Design.
