Thread: Will be picking up a 2006 CTSW

After looking across the country I believe I found the CT for me. It has 145 hours, dual Dynon displays, 2 axis auto pilot and Becker Com and Transponder, Garmin 396 panel mounted and no damage history. It is in the Minn/St Paul Mn area. A very good friend of mine who lives in the area flew it yesterday and says it looks brand new and to buy it! It has always been hangered. I hope to fly it back to Tucson in the next 7 to 10 days. Wx is a major consideration. Any recommendations as to the route to take to Tucson, gas stops, etc. Regards and Merry Christmas to all.......Apples.

It's always good to hear about a new CT owner. I purchased a used CT recently and used CT's look new if they have been well maintained.

Big Apple, a.k.a. Bill Applegate, will be in the hanger next door to me. That's 5 CT's on my field. We'll be a gaggle now.

Gaggle or whatever. I just know they are a chick magnet at every fly in I go to. Wish I had it when I was 18 and could have capitalized on the attention!!

In Camarillo CA last week the chick magnet worked but there must have been dislexia with the 18 year olds that stopped by. It does attract a crowd.

Are you buying one of the LSA North 2006's?, or another one. I've flown a couple of CT's in the MSP area. New tail number, or is it already on the books?

Will be picking up the SW on Tuesday, get a checkout and then fly back to Tucson AZ starting on the 20th. Have another LS pilot to fly back with. Should be fun! Lots of FAA airspace challenges on the way. Will let you all know how it turns out.
