    Default How heavy?

I'm curious how heavy your as-equiped CTSWs actually are since I'm shopping for one now. 660lbs seems low compared to the actual planes I've asked about. Is 700+lb typical or am I just finding 'heavies'?

    Thanks in advance, -Kurt

My 2006 CTSW is 730 lb. with auto pilot, tundra gear and wheels, BRS. I have steam gages and don't have an engine heater.

My 2007 is around 730 as well with tundra gear, Dynon 100, Garmin SL40, GTX327, 496, and steam engine gauges. Still has a great useful load and plenty of range even if you have to bump the fuel off a few gallons to load up the baggage compartment along with 2 people.

2007 CTSW fully equipped all options except Tundra tires weighed in at 712.5 pounds on delivery. Since have upgraded to Tundra tires and larger wheel pants for the mains and a few other minor items so empty weight is now probably closer to 720 pounds.

I'm feeling bad here. My January 2007 build CTSW with tundra gear but with only the D-100 and no autopilot is 751#. Maybe I should weigh it myself.
