LS versus SW, again
Got my first chance yesterday to fly a CTLS around the patch. I now have 375 hours in my CTSW. Here is my quick impression: Asking whether you like the LS or the SW better is like asking whether you like this C172 better than that 172! - WF

I flew a new LS while in Nampa, ID a while back. I took it out to the "practice area" south of the field with the CFI. The controls felt sluggish, and power wise felt a little under powered compared to my SW. I liked the hat rack and seats. The price for a new LS is $150K. Much rather have a used Cirrus 2004 or 2005 for $160 - 185K. Of course I'd keep my SW for back country strips up in Idaho and around here since the Cirrus dont do dirt. 165kts cruise speed at 12 gal per hour makes better x-cntry sense to me. The LS is too much $$.

Hi Karnie.noel,
The LS belonged to Harold.. He is or was the CT salesperson in the Tresure Valley. Ya know it's a beautiful aircraft, it's just too pricey, for a new one.
