Any chance of that ever being offered. Just wondering since I had that option on my Cessna. I think they look awesome.

You can get them through Aircraft Spruce. Just tell them what prop you have so the hub and blades will match. You will need FD's approval first and then send in a couple of pictures with an approval letter.
Has anybody done this yet? If so, what about pictures? I went to Aircraft Spruce as you recommended and found this:

But it looks like too much of an undertaking by myself. I know this must be made meticulously or MAJOR problems will develop. Will ask when it goes in for its 100 hr inspection

A change like this will require a dynamic balance of the spinner & prop. Most helicopter shops can do that.

I have been down this track but it is not going to work. The 10" Spinner I sampled was WAAAAY too long and required significant overhang of the Backing plate which is out of the question when the Prop droops forward below the centre of the cowl. The spinner would simply rub and wear a hole in the cowl in a matter of minutes.
The 9 " Spinner had a better profile and length as well as mounting flush with the backing plate but was too small in Diameter. I asked the owner Al?( before Xmas) if he could flare out a 9" spinner to the 10" baseplate with a flush mount but I am still waiting on a reply .
The Spruce kits really looked like a much better profile to match the Original anyway. If I hadn't ended up repairing my unit and making a mould from it the next step would have been the Spruce kit.

There is a new durable painting process that will produce a Chrome spinner or any other metallic color one desires. Google on Wingwaxers at Lakeland, FL. The proprietor is Barry Ford. Barry has a going buisness finishing all kinds of aircraft and they keep coming back. I'm not sure if FD approval is needed, it's the same spinner, just a different color, Chrome. Give him a call at 800 806-2028.
