Default Throttle tension is loosening up!

After 36 hrs, I've noticed my throttle stick is loosening up and goes to ful throttle with just the engine vibration. Is there a way to tighten up the tension?

Remove the throttle quadrant cover, you will notice that the throttle, choke, and on older CT2K and 2005 CTSWs the trim handle(before the wheel was used) are all sharing the same pivot bolt, interestingly enough I have found that the amount of tension can also depend on the heat inside the cockpit and on colder days it can tend to stiffen up and then become sloppy on warmer days, the throttles on the carbs are set to spring load to full throttle so if its too sloppy then you will end up with the problem you are having. Try adjusting that bolt but beware if you set it to stiff you can run into a dangerous situation with the throttle wanting to stick in certain positions, you have to find a happy medium and then either lock tight or torque paint the bolt to prevent it from falling out of adjustment. I go with a slightly stiffer adjustment on the bolt and make sure its well lubricated and you be back on track...
