    Default Documents/Charts Storage

I initially found document storage a problem.......for example putting terminal charts etc in the shelves under the instrument panel was tending to obstruct the cooling fan air flow from the EFIS/EMS.

Here are some photos of the way I have overcome this:-

    Default Sun Visors

    John,

I just got mine - they are not cheap! They are from Flight Design. I think they are standard equipment now days. I think I payed somewhere in the $350 range. I'm wondering if they could be made for a lot less. I'll show them to you next time I'm down (which would be today if the weather would start cooperating!!!)

    Default Great ideas...

Boy some more great ideas....I can hardly wait to incorporate them. Will have to find a seamstress for those curtain pockets - how great that is.

I had to empty my under dash storage area as well....fans kept sucking up the paper!!! Had fear of over heating so they were pretty much rendered useless.

John.....Roger H is correct..they are from Flight Design. Functionally they are OK but IMO could be a bit darker.

    Wow Dave !!!

    Great storage ideas mate!

I was wandering through SuperCheap Auto this morning and found an over the seat organiser which looked pretty handy - to my surprise when I put it up against the "Seat back Curtain" it was almost a perftect fit - well it will be when it goes back in tomorrow. Weight is negligble (empty that is) and for just AUD$ 15 each I couldn't go past them.

Love the clips for the overhead Map storage too.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

This is a SPERLING "Back Seat Organiser" from Sperling Enterprises, Sydney, Australia- which I found at a local Auto Store (Super Cheap Auto) But I suspect they are just the distributors . Their website is :

i like the pen clip idea on windscreen post and the map clips will fit them to mine ... i have made covers out of neoprene for the luggage holes behind the seats do you find that they help with cabin heat/noise ? haven't tried mine out yet
The sunvisors are from FD in the uk and about £240 so not cheap i am thinking of making my own but will leave it till weather improves

    Cheers Mike
Flying CTSW is just great 500 hrs + now 2100 hrs total

Yesterday is history. Tommorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift that's why they call it the present.
