    Default Wheel pants

    Hi Scott,

There you go. Blanket approval for everyone. If you take your wheel pants off, copy this letter and keep it in your maint. manual in case you are ever question. These things aren't hard they just need to be done with some follow through.

I found this thread today but didn't see the LOA attachment. Maybe it got "lost" during the change to the new Forum format? Could someone please re-post the LOA pdf attachment again? I recall that there may be a site where all LOA's are posted? Thanks.

    Hi Dick,

Which LOA do you want? I'll post it for you.

Hi Roger. If you could post the LOA which gives approval to fly without wheel pants, I would appreciate it.

Did you post a location where one could go for access to all of the LOA's a while ago?

    Thank you.

As it was, we could only take off with 25 gal of fuel, and when it was down to 8 gallons the CG was 1" from the aft limit.
110lbs - OK! This is good news. On delivery of my CT over 3 years back, the handover guy was very specific in pointing out that a maximum of 25kg (about 55lbs) was allowed in total in the luggage compartment. Two prominent stickers were stuck on the luggage doors "25kg Maximum." I thought that with the BRS weighing in at about 16kg (35lbs), this was the reason.
Do you have a BRS fitted?
Is it really 110 lbs in total?
On the Weight&Balance docs, I have always filled in 25kg max.

thanks for this -looking forward to hearing from you

    Observations:
Stability was great. Much easier to trim than when lightly loaded.
No affect on speed, probably because of the lower downforce of the stabilator.
Landing elevator trim was all the way forward.
If you get a bounce touching down if won't come down on the nose wheel.
If you do a short field 15-flap takeoff, the nose will come up at 15 kt (even with the trim all the way forward). You have to force it to stay in ground effect until you get 50kt or so.

I'll post a picture of our haul.
