I have always thought that to make Woodstock (my CTSW) a better mountain airplane she would need a 914 turo and a new nose. Today I got the chance to see what it was like flying behind the 914 albeit with a different airframe, a mono wheel Europa.

The first leg, Mammoth to Death Valley was into the sun so i didn't shoot any pics till after landing. The climb and speed where a refreshing change, we were at 12,000' in 5 minutes and then cruised at 150kts. Smooth air and a stable ride, we were there eating burger in no time.

Back up to 12,000' and descending into Mammoth.
