Being a belt an suspenders guy Iwas wondering what others were using as backup to the 496 (if installed) for charts (other than paper). iFly700, iPad, , or - - - -?

Hi,
I use Anywhere map ATC. Everything from charts to plates to taxi diagrams to to moving map gps to nearest function (airports, WX etc.) to detail airport info. (freq. runway data etc.) and street mapping for use in the car. The thing I like best is you can purchase a lifetime subscription to the 28 day internet updates. Check their web site. I've used it for several days and love it.

Anywhere map ATC has always looked nice, but has just been replaced by the Quadra, which looks even nicer... more features than similar Garmins, including charts, at a fraction of the price... it looks like it would make a good backup unit, as well as something you could use day-to-day.

Currently, I backup my main GPS with a portable garmin cx60, and an android phone.
