My Efis developed a series of errors, all trickling down from the bearing switching to true vs magnetic. The declination error here is 14.8 degrees so the error was big enough to make flying with the EFIS unpleasant when I wasn't stressed.

Of course this happened just after Blue Mountain closed its doors and filed for bankruptcy. I figured it would take a lot of money to design and install a new panel. I contacted Greg Richter the former CEO and he eventually sent me a software update that handled the issue i was having after years of good service. I feel lucky.
