Need some advise,

I have a D10-A EFIS and a Flydat. I want a D100 EFIS and the D120. Do I need a LOA from FD to do this? Dynon says my D10-A and the D100 are a "plug and play" situation since the D100 and the D10-A are exactly the same with the exception of the screen size. Your expierences?

Hi Mike,

You should have no issues. You will of course need a new panel, but the swap on the D10 and D100 should be easy. The D120 should be that hard, but get someone that has done one to make sure he does it right or look at another installation on a CT and that will also help you out. The LOA from FD is not an issue. Once the install is done take a couple of pictures, fill out the LOA letter and send them in. That is all you should need to do. The LOA is the easiest part.
