Default Flydat No Showing Engine Time

We recently took delivery of our new [to us] 2005 CTSW. There are a few minor tweak we're going to make, but the one I'm not sure how to address is the Flydat engine monitor. It recently (around the time it left its previous owner) stopped showing the engine time.

The previous owners didn't troubleshoot it much. In my mind it's likely a software problem or a sensor (oil flow?) not registering properly.

    Anyone seen this before?

I have the data cable and the disk (floppy!) that it came with but haven't done anything in the way of troubleshooting--yet. All other functions appear to work fine. It senses and displays temps, RPM, and basically everything else.

We had trouble with the flydat engine monitor with an error code which would not clear.
Sent it to these folks to have it cleared.
