Good day,
I am new on this forum and happy owner, since a month, of a CTLS registered in Switzerland.
Below a picture of the panel with the D180, 695 and COMM/TRSP to the right, the layout works great !

yannick,
that's a real nice panel, the biggest negative that i see would be tuning the radios in turbulence.
thanks for the pic.
by the way, i have the same key ring![]()
That is a very smart layout. I notice that you fly from the right seat, and that the ADI gps is not working. Is that typical of the ADI, that it doesnt get a signal when the 695 does?Originally Posted by Yannick B
Very nice!
What's the unit above the 696?

Hello Doug, navygolf, Charlie Tango
Tuning in turbulence, not that bad but off course the layout might make it a bit more difficult..
The unit above the 695 is a display for the FLARM, which is a GPS based anticollision device used extensively in Europe for gliders and light aircraft.
Flying from the left actually but as I was making the picture.... The TruTrak ADI needed GPS input from the 695 which has been done by now, working fine
Ah, I thought it might be the FLARM. We don't have that in the US and transponders in gliders are rare - totally "see and avoid."Originally Posted by Yannick B
Hope you're liking the 695 - we have a 696 and love it.

Hello Yannick,
we met us some days before in Eggersdorf.
Maybe you want to present to the board members your project next year and the other modifications of your CTLS (like the fuel system and the bigger fuel tanks)
I think there are a lot of interesting things to show.![]()

Hello Kai,
Yes, indeed...I am quite busy now but as soon as possible I will post some information on the project.
Best regards
