    Default Airbox Foresight

    Hi All

Time to get your cheque books out ......try www.airboxaero.com and just have a look at the foresight model.

Mine arrived last Friday and it's even better in real life.

Pilot (UK) magazine ran a 2 page report and absolutely loved it.

Totally touch screen ..............on screen buttons drive the menus and functions but are removed and replaced with one permanent button... really intelligent use of a big screen. All flight planning can be done on the unit ...or by using the PC planning software and download it through the USB.

It does everything it says in the manual beautifully.

I couldn't fly over the weekend and had to travel to London on Monday ....so I ran it in the 737 on the way over. 535 mph at FL345 !!

Brilliant screen and I bought the optional powergorilla battery .....12 hours.

Map switching from :500 to :250 in flight without dropping the route ......even have the Jeppesens loaded for the Republic of Ireland.

Rave rave .......don't even think of a 7" garmin without looking this one out

Everything a Flymap L would do for you (and more) in a third of the depth and a third of the price

Have a look and throw me your questions

Default Airbox Foresite on Old CT2K panel

    Hi all
Just to keep you informed on progress with the Foresite ..... I've got it out of the 737 and in to G-CBAI ... our CT2K

Hope you like the attached photo of the Foresite next to the 295 Garmin !

It runs on the aircraft power or a 12 hour powergorilla, which tucks away on the document shelf in front of P2.

Mounted on a suction pad and a 4" extension with swivel ball ..... easy to remove and take home for connecting up to the pC for downloading flight plans, new software and map updates. The extension is great for both reaching it and reading it.
