    Default Flymap

I've long been interested in this product. They're trying to come to the US market but probably will be a little late with all the competition. Still the only one with touch screen however. They're calling it BrightFlite in the US. I got a "kick" out of the last photo...they obvioulsy "photoshopped" in their product and forgot about the "496". No need for both!!!!

    ear Roger,

sorry for answering that late. We have that heavy workload here in Europe. We need to have a good representative in the US to manage all the traffic. We had so much interest and succes on this years airventure.

I think our latest product “BriteflightD” could fit very nicely into the CT panel. BrightfliteD offers PFD, Moving Map, Engine Monitoring and as an additional option also an autopilot. The moving map displays the original US sectional maps with terrain and airspace overlay and we also have a WX-weather feature. The whole system is touch operated and the display is very bright (>1000 nits). The BrightfliteD offers two 6,4 inch screens in one housing. Both displays are absolutely independent and also redundant. A kit with BrightfliteD AHRS-sensor and engine monitoring sensor weights only 6 pounds.

The system is tested according to DO160E from Eurocopter Europe as an aviation device.

    Best regards

    Joerg Stauff

Yep I would say that IS your panel CT.

Don't expect much change out of 12-15K$ US if you go for both panels, the Flymap GPS is a £4kUK product without extras.
Whilst I love the Flymap product I have been a little frustrated with the lack of support recently. I need a new CAA map & I can't get one on my Flymap as the German parent company (Stauff Systec GmbH ) hasn't signed a license deal with the CAA. Not good
It may be wise to let them "settle" in the market before spending your money.

I only can repeat that I am still very happy with my Flymap as I prefer it to the 496 which came originally in my CTLS Further more I have no complains for the service, as I got everything I needed just after a phone call to Heidrun Thäsler. Attached a screenshot of my panel.
Number of Starts and Landings are the still the same!
    *I feel GREAT *
