Thread: D100 Settings

Does anyone have the complete settings for the D100,

Main reason for the need is longish.

Had to replace D100. The replacement did not have the settings to send altitude to the transponder. The avionics shop got that working OK. Unfortunately, along the way the settings that allow the D120 info to appear on the D100 got misplaced. Additionally, the GPS496 data is not getting to the D100 for the HSI.

The D120 appears to be functioning normally.

Panel has the D100, D120, Autopilot, and 496.

Do both units have the same Firmware revision? The latest is version 4.0.4 I believe. You can find this in the Setup / Version menu. If they don't have the same firmware, you need to update them. Once they have the 4.0.4 firmware. you should just be able to enable DSAB on the new D100, in the Setup / DSAB menu.

Thanks all for you help. Turns out that it was NOT any front panel settings. the DSAB wires had been connected with crimp on splices that didn't crimp properly. Soldered on some extra wire and connected everything.

Now everything is working again. How I was able to make the trip from Gettysburg, PA to Custer, SD without them parting, I will never know.
