    Default Columbia Fly-In

    Hi Everyone,

Hurry, Hurry, Hurry step right up for your fun in the sun!

We are expecting a fairly large group at Columbia. Larger than the last two previous May Fly-Ins. We will be doing some different things like outside BBQ's for a lunch and dinner, games (bomb drop and spot landing competition) and fly out breakfast, Yosemite Park fight and a museum.
You all need to make your reservations because time is getting close and you need to get a hotel reservation and car if you need one. These phone numbers are listed on the home page.
If you know someone with a CT that doesn't look at the forum often or even another LSA, call them and get them there.

Don't wait because things get taken up fast. make the reservation now and if something comes up at the last minute you can still cancel.

Uh, can anyone come to the fly in or is it restricted to CT owners? Thought it might be a good chance to see a lot of planes and talk to the owners.

CT owners recognize that there are other makes/models out there and we are always anxious to give those owners our sympathy!!

Gee, thanks for the deep caring thoughts John. I'll try to hide my shame as I slink the 6XT off of the runway to an out of the way tie-down..... Actually I am very much looking forward to being able to talk to all of the owners about their planes. It will be to get the chance to meet more of this very nice community of pilots.

But just think how much you can save on lodging being able to sleep inside your plane comfortably! Might even be able to rent a second bed in that beast!

    Thumbs up Who's coming?

    Hi All,

Columbia is 2.5 months away and approaching fast. Make your reservations. We should have a big group this time. There are lots of CT's in easy cruise range of Columbia, CA.
Chime in if you are coming? We would like to get a rough idea of the number.
Call your CT friends and other LSA buddies.

    Thanks,

I'm planning to be there. Anyone want to split the cost on a rental car?

We will be there for Thursday gathering. Will join you all for Auburn morning, then we need to return to the ranch. I believe Terry Lytle and wife will be there as well.
