A friend of mine just finished a new motel down the street from the airport...

He's giving us a corporate rate of $95.00 a night. Please tell them you are with the CT Fly-in group when making your reservations.

This is just across the street from the Red Lyon where most stayed last year. It's brand new so it might be nicer - sure looks that way anyhow.

Give me a day or two. I believe there are 2-3 places $20-$30 less per night and just as close. Just let me make a phone call or two tomorrow.

Red Lion Inn 1.6 mi. from airport $97.20 503-472-1500 hot continental breakfast

Best Western Vineyard Inn 3.5 mi. from airport $105 503-472-4900 hot continental breakfast

Safari Motor Inn 3.5 mi. from airport $79 503-472-5187 hot continental breakfast

I might stay there in 08. The McMenamins' Hotel Oregon downtown was certainly fun, right in downtown MMV, and the rooftop pub was a kick.

comfort inn sounds ok - do they have a shuttle to the roof top pub?

Made my reservations today at the Comfort Inn for the May 14th-18th. I will arrive on the morning of the 14th and head home on the morning of the 19th.

Lynn won't be able to make it this year. She will be with her daughter in Seattle the whole month of May.
Would you like me to stop over on the night of the 13th. and we both fly up on the morning of the 14th? I might have my partner with me, but I don't know yet. If not I will be alone.
