Default BRS seminar with deployment simulator

either fd or brs should put on a gig to help us use the system.

a simulator that we and our wives, girfriends, sig others, etc can pull on would be great. are you sure your passenger could deploy?

    Default BRS Demo

Even I would like to see what it's like to pull the chute handle.

I noticed, (when I flew Roger H's CT at the Fly-In) that he had the pin for the Chute Handle on the Ignition Key ring. Pretty good idea, he can't start the airplane without removing the pin.

I used to do the same but don't anymore. This only works when you leave your airplane unlocked in your own hangar. If you go anywhere and want to lock the plane and take the key with you then one of two bad things happen: (1) you leave the chute armed while the plane is parked, or (2) you separate the door key from the ignition key and you leave the ignition key inside the plane on the chute ring in plain sight, inviting people to pick your door lock and take your plane for a very unauthorized demo ride.
