Thread: East Coast...

PapaCT dropped me an email about a middle of the country fly-in. While the CT is a great traveler I'm wondering if two fly-ins would work. One east - one west. Florida has a great concentration of CT's and I'd love to go there in say December or January on a commercial flight. Phil Lockwood could give Rotax classes and I'd love to do some co-pilot CT flying down there! Maybe a fishing trip!

I think two is the way to go, I had already heard they were working on a East Coast CT Fly-In.

Who is "they"? If the planned East-Coast fly-in is scheduled for the summertime, then I think Danbury would be a great choice. We have a lovely grass strip - Candlelight Farms (11N) - next to a beautiful lake to complement our large-but-not-too-large paved field (DXR). We are close enough to New York City for easy commercial travel, yet at the same time close to the headquarters of FlightDesign USA in Woodstock, CT.
