Thread: First Report McMinnville Fly-In

I wish somehow we could get every CT pilot and plane to McMinnville for this event...it's just a great fun time. First one landed yesterday at five till eleven with two more right behind him.

I think we made it up to nine planes yesterday. Yossi who flew his CT from New York made it on time for dinner along with Charlie Tango. Two Canadian friends came in and did a little wine tasting with my wife yesterday then we all met for dinner at a nice little French restaurant.

Some how Oregon managed to greet us with clear sky's - it had been rainy up until the day before! Thanks to whomever brought that!

The plan today is a short hop over to the coast, fly north a little bit and land at Tillamook. Should be beatutiful.

Thanks to all those that have come and are coming.

For the rest of you - we're having a great time - wish you were here!!!!

Glad ya'll are having fun. I'm stuck in TX this weekend.

How many planes showed up and how many pilots? How did things work out with Cunningham's? Who from FD showed up? Any group pictures? Anything new?

It's 5:30 am Monday morning and I'm off to see our last two planes leave town!! Have a meeting this morning but I'll get to work on pictures and report later today. I can tell you quickly that the weather was fantastic and I think all that attended had a great time - I know I sure did!
