Default Some adventures for the Fly-in....

    Weather, weather, weather....

Last year we had great weather and could fly just about anywhere. I think it started to close in on us on Sunday but for the most part we were open and having fun!

We’ll just have to wait and see about this year but here are some thoughts on Fly-Outs.

Hood River has a great new museum of antiques and is up the Columbia George which is beautiful.

Tillamook has a museum. It’s over on the coast and of course it’s hard to beat the beauty of the Oregon coast.

    Lunch at Independence is good.

Great clam chowder at Milano on Fridays. Could stop at Lenhardts for coffee and donuts (grass and paved strip) on the way!

One of my favorites is Bremerton. They have great fish and chips. It’s about an hour and a half but some great scenery over Washington, the sound, navel shipyard, etc.

Tour of the wine county for the gals on Saturday.

Got any other thoughts or ideas - they are greatly appreciated!

    Hope you can make it....

They all sound great to me Roger, count me in.

You pick and I'll go, as long as the weather is good.

    Roger H,

They all sound great to me. Another option could be an aerial tour of the Mt. St. Helens area, avoiding the TFR of course.

I'm looking forward to seeing you.

actually last year we never saw the coast, otherwise the weather was good.

getting in and out of oregon was easy only if you flew on top
